Congratulations to Birdston Nursing Home Manager Susan Leung and Lillyburn Care Home Manager Ann McKinnon for completing the “My Home Life" course which is a UK-wide initiative that promotes quality of life and delivers positive change in care homes for older people.
Arranged as part of East Dunbartonshire Care Home Managers Cohort, the 9 month course specifically for East Dunbartonshire Care Home managers is a UK-wide initiative to promote quality of life for those living, dying, visiting and working in care homes for older people through relationship-centred and evidence based practice.
Susan said “It was such a beneficial experience, so we have also signed up for the free My Home Life app where each user will receive a positive message every Monday, and this will be shared with the rest of the staff.”
