Birdston Annual Fete

The sun shone on Minions, residents and their families alike today at the Birdston annual summer fete. Lillyburn Care Home along with Kintyre, Birdston Nursing Home and Birdston Day Care joined forces to put on this much loved summer activity featuring homemaking, tombola stalls and raffles, to name just a few of the activities on offer.
The day was an outstanding success with £2161.15 raised in total, meaning that each home will now receive a whopping £720.38 to each of their residents funds... it might just pay for a residents outing to Minions, The Movie!
