Harvest Time

Potatoes, potatoes and more potatoes – King Eddies, Maris Pipers and some very unusual blue potatoes – all from our very own garden. Some of our residents got involved in cleaning and weighing our harvest of potatoes and are all looking forward to sampling them over the next few weeks, particularly the blue potatoes, which are to be used to make chips for our next tasting session with the Head Chef.
Well done to handyman John and the Lillyburn Gardening Group for producing such a bumper crop. Along with our potatoes we also harvested delicious strawberries and tomatoes also freshly grown in our garden.
