Day On The Water for Day Care

Clients and staff spent a lovely day on a barge trip run by Seagull Trust, cruising down the Forth and Clyde Canal. We sailed from the marina in Kirkintilloch to Hillhead Bridge, up to the stables restaurant and back again.
On the journey the swans and cygnets kept us company whilst the staff had an opportunity to steer the barge supported by their trusty crew!
A delicious lunch of tomato soup, a variety of sandwiches, yogurts and fruit was provided by Birdston kitchens, whilst tea and coffee were complementary from the Seagull Trust.
The day out didn't finish there, after the barge trip clients were taken to Colzeum in Kilsyth for an afternoon picnic. A good day out thoroughly enjoyed by all.
