The Football Memories volunteers from Alzheimer Scotland come along to Mosswood once a month to chat about all things football, mainly with our gentlemen residents. The group is usually all male, providing our residents the chance to focus on the chat and discuss more masculine topics.
They share their football cards prompting conversation about favourite teams, remembering great moments in football history, or personal memories from attending matches.
Half time wouldn't be half time without the pies, so we usually stop to enjoy hot pies, Bovril, tea and coffee. Resident John said, " I am not a great football fan, but I like to come along as I enjoy the male company.
