Introducing Our Newest Therapet

Fiona and her dog Rosie have been visiting at Mosswood each month for quite a while now, so we were delighted when the Therapet service were able to allocate us a second dog, Molly.
Gill now also brings along Molly, her springer spaniel, each fortnight to visit with the residents. The new dog is just getting to know us, but she seemed to enjoy meeting everyone and having a few treats.
The Therapet visits are very popular with our residents; a chat with Fiona and Gill brightens up the residents’ day and they love to see the dogs and have an opportunity to pet them, bringing back fond memories of their own pets. Some residents enjoy walking the dogs with their owners around the unit or out in the gardens.
