Mothers Day At Lillyburn

Lillyburn residents were joined by friends and family to celebrate Mother’s Day in the Mull Suite. The Lillyburn kitchen brought out their very best china cups for the occasion, where residents and their families enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea with a selection of sandwiches and cakes.
The very talented Rosalba from Music in Hospitals kept everyone entertained with some beautiful songs from musicals and some popular Scottish tunes.
Both the residents had a wonderful day, Mary, who has just recently come to Lillyburn was able to celebrate Mother’s Day with her family and chat about how she is settling in and her hopes for the future. Gertrude’s daughter commented on what a lovely afternoon Lillyburn had arranged for the residents and their families to enjoy.
