Pacific Care Supports Playlist for life

As part of our on-going support for the great work of Playlist For Life, Pacific Care sponsored their annual Golf Tournament this month at Lenzie Golf Club. The event was held to raise money for Playlist for Life, a registered charity who help people with dementia manage their symptoms, strengthen relationships with loved ones and restore a sense of self at times when the disease feels too much. This is achieved using a playlist of music that makes up the soundtrack of the user’s life, such as lullabies their mum sang or their first 'slow dance'.
21 teams, and 84 golf bags, descended on the course on a beautiful May day with Sally Magnusson in attendance to declare the match underway. A whopping £13,500 was raised with Pacific Care’s assistance from the golf tournament and charity auction. Find out more about Playlist for Life: www.playlistforlife.org.uk
