Petting Zoo Visits Lillyburn

Lillyburn Cared Home had a visit from the petting zoo Bunny & Co today. They brought a range of animals for the residents to see and pet including fluffy bunny rabbits, cute gerbils, ducks, white rats, a very noisy cockerel and Poppy the cat.
Some residents even fed the animals and everyone enjoyed hearing interesting facts about them. David loves animals and found it hilarious when one of the white rats decided to sit on his shoulder. Jean commented on how lovely it was to stroke the rabbits and have one of them fall asleep in her lap.
