Reminiscence For Flora

A lovely day was spent slowly drifting along the Kirkintilloch Canal for Stanely Park residents. The Seagull Trust welcomed staff and residents aboard and they all enjoyed watching the world go by, waving to residents as they walked past on the footpaths.
Resident Flora reminisced that she went on the canals many times with her husband and today brought back some very fond memories of her youth. To finish the trip, the passengers tucked into their picnic provided by Stanely’s chef and enjoyed a sing-a-long on the way back home.
