Sailing Along The Canal

Residents of Lillyburn Care Home were kindly invited to join members of the Kirkintilloch Baptist Church on the Seagull Barge Trip. The Church has a close relationship with Lillyburn and many residents are members.
Kirsten said, “it was nice to spend time with the church members and enjoy the lovely weather.” There was a selection of sandwiches supplied by the church for everyone to nibble on as they sailed along the canal taking in the beautiful views.
Marie our Practice Development Co-ordinator said “we are very thankful to the Baptist Church for inviting us today. It ‘s good for the residents share the experience with some of their church friends.”
