As football fans, Lillyburn’s men’s group were very keen to visit the Scottish Football Museum. Located within Hampden Park, the museum takes you on a football journey unlike any other.
Based within Hampden Park, the Museum provides a wonderful day out for fans of the great game. There are thousands of objects on display, which traces the history of football in Scotland, the perfect reminiscing opportunity for the group. Many of our residents posed with big grins next to the great players of the past.
Jeff is a big football fan but no longer goes to matches, so he particularly enjoyed the opportunity to reminisce about his days spent on the terraces supporting his favourite teams.
Staff member Marion McKenzie commented on how important it was for the men’s group to take part in something they enjoy and can relate to.
The adventure had worked up quite an appetite, so the group headed for the cafeteria before heading home.
