A Christmas Carol

Our service users at Birdston Day Care enjoy a good movie and today they were feeling particularly festive on the run up to Christmas.
The film the service users chose to watch this year was the musical version of a ‘Christmas Carol’ from 1970, starring Albert Finney and Alec Guinness.
It tells the tale of the miserly old Ebenezer Scrooge who is visited by 3 ghosts on Christmas Eve and the miracle that changes him into the best old man the old city had ever known.
We also enjoyed a light refreshment from the bar during the movie and enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee with warm mince pies.
A great time was had by all it was a great way to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
