Stanely Park Receive Playlist For Life Plaque

Staff at Stanely Park Care Home gave a well-received presentation on how Playlist for Life has been integrated into resident’s care plans. In attendance was Playlist for Life who were impressed by the work of the staff in implementing Playlist for Life within their homes.
Staff from Stanely Park undertook the Playlist For Life training which allowed the home to be accredited their own Playlist For Life plaque.
Anna Maria’s presentation discussed Grace’s dementia journey. Music had a calming effect on Grace which allowed her to forgot her worries during and after music was played.
One of Grace’s favourite songs was ‘Can I have this dance for the rest of my life’, a song which reminded her of her beloved husband Tommy who ‘meant the world’ to her.
After a short photo opportunity staff showed the Playlist For Life team in more detail on how they have implemented Playlist For Life at Stanely Park and the fantastic results the home has achieved.
