Music For A Summers Afternoon

Service users from Birdston Day Care attended the 7th Annual “Music for a Summers Afternoon” at the Kirkintilloch Baptist Church.
Upon arrival, the group were warmly greeted by staff and volunteers from both Ceartas and the Kirkintilloch Baptist church.
Pacific Care have worked in partnership with Ceartas for many years, and our staff and service users have forged very strong working and personal links with them, so we were delighted to be invited and to attend this event.
Ceartas provides Independent Advocacy to adults normally resident in East Dunbartonshire.
We then enjoyed a delicious high tea lunch with freshly made sandwiches, cakes, and tea and coffee.
After the opening speeches and presentation, we were then entertained by a live music band, and many of our staff and service users took to the dancefloor.
It was a great day, very well organised, and enjoyed greatly by everyone in attendance. The staff of Ceartas, and the workers from the Baptist church were very welcoming and helpful throughout the day.
