Daffodil Tea

In aid of McMillan Cancer Support, Riverbrae School held a Daffodil Tea. The children were kind enough to invite staff and residents along to the event.
Four residents were managed along to the tea, where they were welcomed by the schoolchildren and were encouraged to take a look at the different stalls such as the tombola and raffle ticket stalls.
The tea included a delicious selection of cakes to enjoy which May said “I’m stuck for choice!”. There were so many cakes that each resident took home a box of the delicious cakes to share with other residents and enjoy later.
Pupil Scott helps the Housekeeper Tracey with laundry on occasions at Mosswood and caught up with them at the event. As ever he was very polite as he introduced himself and chatted with the residents about their thoughts on the Daffodil Tea which he had helped organise.
The children were delighted that so how many people came along and thanked everyone for their generosity.
