Haggis & A Wee Dram

Tummy’s were rumbling as residents awaited their Burns Supper at Mosswood Care Home. The day has been long-awaited by many so it was a delight to watch Chef Peter present the haggis with Kyle the piper from Linwood High School who piped Peter into the room.
A wee dram was served to accompany the delicious haggis, neeps and tatties, which was lovingly prepared by Chef Peter and his kitchen staff.
Piper Kyle played throughout the address of the haggis and both residents and staff clapped along tapping their feet in time to the music. Ella said “the piper did a great job for such a young man” and Sadie had “great fun dancing along to the tunes.”
Kyle thanked his audience and said “it was a pleasure to pipe in the haggis and it was lovely to see the smiles on so many faces.”
