We have been fortunate enough to welcome various entertainers from charity Music in Hospitals for many years now. Ciaran and Mary Kathleen are particular favourites of our residents and it was a delight for everyone to hear that they have come in to entertain us.
The duo brightened up and dull rainy evening with old favourites like ‘It’s A Long Way To Tipperary’ and ‘Show Me The Way To Go Home.’ Music in Hospitals works with a wide range of people who, due to health conditions or disability, are unable to access or experience live music within their local communities. They provide specially tailored performances and music sessions to suit their tastes and needs and our residents are very much looking forward to their next visit on Father’s Day.
