An Afternoon of Scottish Entertainment

We had a lovely time celebrating Burn’s day with a fantastic afternoon of Scottish entertainment.
We indulged in an amazing Scottish buffet lunch lovingly made by Stanely Park Chef Karen, followed by a wee dram or irn bru. The buffet included mini haggis bon bons , smoked salmon savory scones and of course the haggis which was piped in as tradition depicts.
Resident Jean even recited a few wee Scottish poems and we all sang a mixture of Rabbie Burns songs.
Chef Karen said ‘I thoroughly enjoyed coming up with all the taste sensations for our residents to try.’
Manager Sue Kedley said ‘it was great to hear all our residents singing and laughing.’
