Cathy Sings Her Heart Out

We were joined on Monday 6th of January by entertainer and singer Cathy Struthers, who performed for our Service Users in the Daycare Centre.
Cathy was once a backing vocalist for 1980s pop icon Midge Ure.
Our Service Users had just enjoyed a 3 course lunch consisting of Lentil Soup to start, a choice from 3 main courses and a dessert pudding with drinks.
In the morning our service users enjoyed our reminiscence class and quiz group.
Cathy was excellent throughout, singing many old favourites, including Frank Sinatra and Tom Jones, and the service users thoroughly enjoyed her entertainment and singing.
Many clients and staff were on the dancefloor showing us their dance moves.
Our service users also enjoyed ice cream, and a light refreshment alcoholic drink from the bar during the show, and during the half time interval, they enjoyed soft drinks and a cup of tea or coffee with biscuits and cake.
A great time was had by all.
