A Day In The Garden

Resident Vicky is an avid lover of nature and mentioned to staff at Mosswood Care Home just how much she looks forward to watching the spring flowers sprouting after a long winter. Staff then decided to purchase and plant some bulbs in the garden with Vicky.
The gardening team consisting of Vicky, Joan, Sybil and Madge who all had their gardening gloves and trowels at the ready and proceeded to dig out the weeds. Daffodils, Iris’ and tulips were then planted which will then hopefully transform this wee garden patch into a beautiful display of flowers come spring.
Keen gardener Madge said how much she enjoyed getting back into the garden and could not wait to see the variety of colours the flowers will display.
Sybil said “This will give us something to look forward to after the horrible year we have had.”
