Remembrance Lunch

COVID-19 will not stop our residents from remembering those who had fallen. A church service was held in one of our lounges at Mosswood Care Home followed by two minutes of silence for remembrance.
Afterwards, we held a Remembrance Day themed lunch and sign a long. In-between courses staff used one of our Amazon Alexa’s to play a selection of wartime songs for residents to sing a long to. A glass of wine or two was enjoyed with lunch followed by afternoon tea using our best china.
Doreen said “It’s a day of remembrance. What a lovely day it has been.”
Mona said “I’ve had a great time this week, especially making poppies for our table decorations which was just wonderful!”
