Bagpiping Grandson Of Resident Entertains In Garden

Over the Easter holidays we were treated to entertainment from bagpiper Samuel who’s Grandpa is a resident and is “very proud” of his talents and for taking the time out of his busy schedule to entertain us at Mosswood Care Home.
Playing his pipes in our garden, residents gathered around both inside and outside to watch and listen to him play. He played many popular Scottish songs and there were many feet tapping and hands clapping in the beautiful warm sunny weather.
Helen said “It can be very emotional listening to bagpipes as many of us have fond memories involving bagpipes at weddings and special occasions”
Margaret said “I come from a family of pipers and the music still makes the hair on my arms stick up!”
