Our service users at Day Care have been taking part in Tai Chi sessions with their instructor Irene. The sessions have proven to be very beneficial and provide a calming experience for all who take part.
Tai Chi is one of the most effective exercises for the health of mind and body. This practice is taught around the world as it is proven to help people to relax and feel better. Tai Chi is performed by slowly, calmly moving and breathing through a series of movements which are collectively referred to as “the tai chi form.”
The practice increases circulation helps flexibility improves memory and helps service users to sleep better. Increases circulation, breathing, helps with coordination and bringing balance to the body and mind.
