We celebrate an egg-celent Easter Monday

Easter at Pacific Care is always filled with love and laughter and this Easter was no exception. Staff performed an egg-celent job decorating the home and preparing a whole variety of engaging activities for our residents to participate in.
Easter Monday began with an arts and crafts session where residents crafted their very own Easter decorations, flowers and bonnets which will all be judged in our highly competitive Easter competition.
Mosswood’s best china was brought out for a lovely cup of tea followed by a good old sing along.
Mona said “It was when we all get together like this and we all like the same kind of music, we had such a great time.”
After thorough consideration and a close tie, our staff (turned judges) announced Jean as the winner of best prize for her beautiful Easter bonnet. Jean laughed and said “I feel like a wee girl again! I haven’t won anything in a long time.” Jean was a great sport and shared her winnings – a delicious chocolate bunny – with her fellow residents.
