Join Us in Celebrating: Pacific Care Facilities Host Summer Fetes
After three long years of waiting, the residents and staff of our five care facilities are embracing the joy of summer by hosting fetes. These events not only rekindle the spirit of celebration but also serve as vital fundraisers to support the residents' funds. In light of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, these gatherings symbolise a return to normalcy, fostering a sense of hope and resilience within the care home communities.
A Festive Start
The inaugural summer fete took place at Mosswood Care Home at the end of June, marking a momentous occasion for residents and staff alike. With an outpouring of support from the local community, the event successfully raised an impressive £2,408, which will go directly towards enhancing the residents' quality of life. The funds will go directly to the residents, providing additional activities, outings, and resources that enrich their daily experiences within the care home.
The summer fetes serve as a bridge between the care homes and the wider community.
